National & World Ag News Headlines Prices Still Rising on NASS Weekly Cheese Survey USAgNet - 11/20/2009 Dairy product prices are still on the upward trend on the National Ag Statistics Service's Weekly Cheddar Cheese Survey. The price of 40 pound blocks for Minnesota-Wisconsin averaged $1.61, up four cents from last week's price, while 500 pound barrels were two cents higher at $1.60. The price of U.S. 40-pound blocks were up three cents at $1.50 for the week ending November 14. The barrels were at $1.51, which is about a penny higher from last week. Butter prices were up nine cents as the price for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.40 per pound for the week. Nonfat Dry Milk prices fell by a penny for the week at $1.11 per pound for USDA Extra Grade standards.
