CRI Co-op Looking to Merge with Alta Genetics' Parent Firm
USAgNet - 01/02/2018
Cooperative Resources International has been in talks with Koepon Holding BV of The Netherlands to merge the two companies into one.
Last week, the CRI board of directors announced they have reached a non-binding agreement to join forces with Koepon, which is the parent company of Alta Genetics.
CRI Business Development Director Pete Giacomini says the deal must still be approved by both of the companies' boards of directors, as well as by CRI member-delegates.
If approved, the organizations plan to formalize the merger by mid-2018. The company will be headquartered in Wisconsin.
