WAGA Members, Rent the 'Old Farmer'

The Association has purchased an animatronic character for use at promotional events.  Perhaps you have seen him at the Summer Field Day or Wisconsin State Fair.  He is available for members to rent for their own apple festivals and open houses!

Call him "Johnny Appleseed."  Call him the "Old Farmer."  Call him whatever you like.  This life-sized character will add to your event.  The motioning arm and shifting eyes call attention and make him almost look real.  And...his mouth moves in syncopation with his speech.

The character includes three modes of speaking;

1. Use the cassette recorder and a continuous loop cassette to have him repeat your message.
2. Use the electronic, motion-activated recorder and he will give a short message whenever anyone approaches him.  The rest of the time, he sits quietly.
3. Use the wireless microphone and he can carry on live conversations with your customers.  A second, concealed microphone on the character lets your person hear what is being said and reply to the customer.
